Private Truffle Hunt

Truffle hunting & tasting is an experience to treasure. A private hunt in the company of friends, family or colleagues, adds to the enjoyment of a very special gourmet outing. The two hour event includes an introduction to truffles, their cultivation in Australia and some of the fascinating features of fungi; hunting in the truffiere with trained dogs and expert guides; harvesting & cleaning the truffles; finally, recapping memorable moments with a glass of cider made at a neighbouring orchard.  Extend the adventure with truffle tasting options available on booking. These include our house pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven where you get to shave the truffle you harvested on the pizza. Alternatively enjoy a truffle lunch at a nearby restaurant.
